Proposition
U is a $417M General Obligation Bond Measure on the
November 4th ballot. Combined with an additional $50M in State
Matching Funds, it would substantially complete the modernization
of all district schools, provide classrooms and equipment for
Career Technical Education, and construct a new high school
in the Alpine/Blossom Valley area.
Proposition U Will...
Repair and modernize old classrooms and other teaching stations to insure safety, accessibility, climate control, energy efficiency and technology.
Repair and modernize old classrooms to serve as Career Technical Education programs for those students not planning to attend college.
Provide new facilities to support the Superintendent’s vision for the arts in education by building multipurpose facilities.
